We take a fresh approach to the food industry by delivering balanced, flavorful, better-for-you pizzas. Complex carbs, nutrient-dense ingredients, quality proteins, healthy fats is what makes up our pizzas.
How It All Started

At the beginning of the '80s in Italy, the concept of pizza evolved and was modified from a heavy, fatty product to a light, genuinely healthy meal, rich in proteins and high nutrition values.

Pizza was never born to be frozen, nor taken-out or mistreated as it is in so many ways, because the fragrance of a good pizza is at its best only in the minutes it comes out of the oven.

After years of testing the perfect combination of flours, kneading, storage temperatures and other details, Be Italian Founder and CEO, Chef Andrea Merafina perfected a fresh product to be made in homes. This boosts the entire range of sensory qualities in a previously par-baked pizza and offers the healthy nutrients and flavors of fresh pizza.

Chef Andrea’s unique knowledge, developed in Italy over his 30 years' experience is how Be Italian became.

In Italy, we have a saying “cotto e mangiato” that translates into “baked and eaten.” It is very popular and it refers to food and also reflects an approach to life, in the sense of go and get your things done, quickly. I think that this is one of the main inspirations for Be Italian.
